Welcome to the Jewish Prayer and Mourning Community. As you feel your own sorrow or support someone else in grief, we hope to give you the information you seek and the comfort you need.

In facing mortality, Judaism acknowledges all the emotions that may arise. Our community is designed to serve as an online resource to provide support and consolation.

The discussions on our bulletin boards create a community of mourners — a place where you can share your feelings about death and take comfort in the words of others. If you'd like to post a prayer here for a lost loved one, please do so. We've also gathered articles by some of today's best writers to inspire, guide, and give solace.
